CHANNEL 3 TO BEGIN WORK FROM THE NEW YEAR

Belgrade, 27.12.2013. (TANJUG) - New Television station Channel 3, which the RBA has awarded a regional frequency will be seen in Belgrade and Novi Sad in 2014, said today Igor Miklja member of the creative team of the television station.

"Signing of the contract with cable operators is in progress, so that this channel will be available on the entire territory of Serbia," said Miklja at a press conference .

He pointed out that this television station is not "attempt to revive the third channel of RTS", as it was said in previous days, and that it would be "presumptuous" because the third channel was something "cute and revolutionary at the time."

Bosko Jaksic, who is also part of the creative team and is responsible for Channel 3 news program, said they will attempt to be "informative, reliable, but also relaxed ."

Part of the Channel 3 creative team is actor Sergej Trifunovic , who said that the culture in Serbia so marginalized that it was "pathetic and pitiful."

"This TV station is starting from zero and this is the easiest way change something ," said Trifunovic.
