LUKA BOJOVIĆ SUED BRANKICA STANKOVIĆ!

Belgrade , 03.04.2014 (Telegraf) - Journalist Brankica Stanković was sued for publishing official police notes in the book "The Insider, My Story", in which she provided details from her life, why she is under police protection, and how at one point she had to be dislocated from Belgrade.

The author of (the investigative programme) "Insider" Brankica Stankovic revealed at the Profemina conference that she was sued last month by Luka Bojović for publishing the official documents.

Documents in question are the official notes published in the book "The Insider, My Story," in which Stanković provided details of her life, why she is under police protection, and how at one point she had to be dislocated from Belgrade.

The book, among other things, contains official notes, registered in the protocols the Ministry of Interior (MUP) and other relevant institutions, stating that a sniper rifle was purchased for her liquidation and that Luka Bojović is behind this.

Although the book was published six months ago and contains a lot of information and documents from relevant institutions about threats to her security, there has been no reaction from institutions or experts. As Brankica Stanković said ironically in today's Profemina meeting, the only reaction is the lawsuit by Luka Bojović.

- The lawsuit alleges that an official note containing investigation information is a secret document and cannot be published. Information that Luka Bojovic is behind this is not my information - but official MUP information. So it turns out that when someone orders your murder, you publish this information, and he sues you because it is an "official secret" - said Stanković.

Luka Bojović, one of most wanted members of the Serbian criminal underworld, was arrested on 9 February 2012 in Valencia on the suspicion that he is responsible for several serious crimes. Still in Spain, in extradition custody, he is awaiting a decision on the extradition to Serbia.
