MIRKOVIĆ APPOINTED STATE SECRETARY

27. 05. 2014 (Danas, by B.C.) - Former assistant minister of culture in charge of media Saša Mirković was appointed yesterday state secretary of the same ministry by the Serbian government. In the new capacity he will also be in charge the media sector.

Previous state secretary in charge of the media sector was Gordana Predić, dismissed at the first meeting of the new government.

Saša Mirković became assistant minister of culture after the government reshuffle in 2013, when Ivan Tasovac was appointed as minister. Mirković was previously director of B92, and then president of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM).
