The REM Council initiates investigative proceedings against Informer.
At today's meeting of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media, a decision was made to initiate two investigative proceedings against the television station Informer.
The decision was made by the REM Council based on the complaints of Council member Rodoljub Šabić and BIRODI.
During the meeting, it was stated that violations of several articles of the Law on Electronic Media had been established.
"My proposal is to make a decision to initiate an investigative procedure against this media service provider," announced the president of the REM Council, Stevica Smederevac.
Let us remind you that the REM Council did not adopt the monitoring report from the monitoring service regarding the first assessment for 15 days of those media service providers that were under 24-hour supervision during the election campaign at today's first new regular meeting in the new term.
Three members of the REM Council voted for the adoption of the report at today's meeting, out of seven present.
