The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) organized a one-day free training on journalist safety for university teaching staff at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš, specifically for representatives of the Department of Communication and Journalism.

Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists: The number of physical attacks on media workers increased by 440 percent in 2025.
From the beginning of 2025, until November 30, a total of 117 cases have been formed in public prosecutors' offices related to threats and attacks on media workers, representing an increase of 112 percent compared to the same period last year, emphasized Branko Stamenković, prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office and member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists (SRG).

The Life of Journalists in Zaječar, Negotin, and Bor: Assaults, Threats, and Insults

The event was organized by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS), and the OSCE Mission to Serbia.

For example, throughout the entire previous year, there were 62 cases, noted Veran Matić, President of the Management Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) and a member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists.

A solidarity gathering was held for attacked journalists in front of the Assembly of Serbia.
A large number of media workers and citizens gathered tonight near the National Assembly of Serbia to express solidarity with the team from N1 television, which was attacked at that location on November 20, as well as with all other female and male journalists who have been targeted in attacks.
