We invite colleagues, citizens, and residents to gather in front of the N1 television editorial office in New Belgrade on Tuesday, April 14th, at 7:30 PM, to collectively show solidarity with the journalists of this media outlet.

A two-day training on journalist safety for media and organizations was held in Novi Pazar, organized by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM).

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) organized a one-day free training on journalist safety for the university teaching staff at the Faculty of Media and Communications of Singidunum University in Belgrade.

Media associations and journalists gathered in front of the Presidency building of Serbia to express solidarity with colleagues who were attacked while reporting on the local elections on March 29, as well as to highlight the increasingly difficult and dangerous situation for journalists in the field. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić was invited to "come out and look journalists in the eye whose lives he thinks he can decide on." While this protest was taking place, people were also gathering in Pioneer Park.

Journalistic and media associations are calling for a protest on Wednesday, April 1st, at 10:30 AM, on Kralja Milana Street near the Presidential building, in response to the attacks on journalists that occurred on March 29th during the elections held in ten municipalities and cities in Serbia.

Members of the group Journalists Against Violence Against Women, Jovana Gligorijević and Ana Manojlović, held the fifth specialized training for female journalists and media workers in Niš.

Members of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists (SRG) held a meeting in Bajina Bašta with media representatives and prosecutors from this and neighboring cities who report on the pre-election campaign and will monitor the elections in that city, Lučani, and Sevojno. This is the fourth meeting in municipalities and cities where elections will be held on March 29, aimed at agreeing on mechanisms for quick responses to potential attacks on journalists, which have been recorded in numerous locations where local elections have taken place.

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) is organizing online consultations on project writing and calls for project co-financing of media content on Thursday, March 26, from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Members of the group Journalists Against Violence Against Women, Jovana Gligorijević and Ana Manojlović, will hold a specialized training session for female journalists and media workers on Saturday, March 28, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Media & Reform Center Niš (Generala Milojka Lešjanina 36).
