The threat received by Vuk Cvijić, a journalist from the weekly magazine Radar, has alarmed the public and the media community in Serbia, as well as international journalist and media associations and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

The Life of Journalists in Zaječar, Negotin, and Bor: Assaults, Threats, and Insults
On December 10th, a discussion on the safety of journalists in Zaječar, Negotin, and Bor was held at the House of Free Media in Zaječar. The event was organized by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS), and the OSCE Mission to Serbia.

From the beginning of 2025 until the end of October, the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office has formed 98 cases related to attacks on media representatives, with only one final verdict in the case of the attack on Verica Marinčić from IN Media. A solidarity gathering was held for attacked journalists in front of the Assembly of Serbia.
A large number of media workers and citizens gathered tonight near the National Assembly of Serbia to express solidarity with the team from N1 television, which was attacked at that location on November 20, as well as with all other female and male journalists who have been targeted in attacks.

Journalistic and media associations are calling on the entire journalistic community to gather on Monday, November 24th, at 7 PM in front of the National Assembly of Serbia (corner of Vlajkovićeva Street and Nikola Pašić Square) to express professional solidarity with the N1 team that was attacked at this very location, as well as with all female and male journalists who have been targeted while reporting in the public interest during the past period.

The process of project co-financing for media content in Serbia is facing a number of problems, irregularities, and political abuses, it was concluded on the first day of the conference "Exchange of Experiences and Training for Participation in Project Evaluation Committees in the Process of Project Co-Financing for Media Content," organized by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) in cooperation with the media and journalistic associations UNS, NUNS, Lokal Pres, and the Association of Media.
