In Negotin, during the local elections held on Sunday, November 30, while preparing to join the Nova S television news broadcast near the SNS offices, correspondent Katarina Golubović was obstructed by members of this party through shoving, insults, and inappropriate remarks.
Due to the apparent threat to live broadcasting of the program and the possible endangerment of the safety of the cameraman and herself, the journalist decided to move from that location in order to perform her job professionally.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) condemned this, as well as other cases, and assessed them as unacceptable pressure on the media and interference with journalists in the performance of their duties.
