The Assembly Committee of Serbia for Culture and Information has established a list of two candidates for the member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) proposed by the national councils of national minorities – Sreten Jovanović and Ištvan Bodžoni.

The Committee has been provided with supplementary documentation regarding the work experience in the field for candidate Sreten Jovanović at the request of that parliamentary body.
The Committee did not accept the objection from the Civic Initiatives submitted regarding what was stated as irregularities in the process of selecting candidates proposed by the national councils of national minorities.
The Committee refused to include in the agenda of today's meeting, upon the proposal of the MP from the People's Movement of Serbia, Ivana Rokvić, the Report on Current Issues in the National Theatre in Belgrade, as well as the Report on the Non-implementation and Delays of Public Competitions in Culture, which was proposed by the MP from the Green-Left Front, Radomir Lazović.
