"Alo" has purchased TV Priboj, and Zaple Media Group has acquired two local portals.
Alo Media System, through its company Best Media Team, has become the owner of Televizija Priboj and the portal valjevo5.rs. Prior to this, they purchased the Užice-based TV Lav plus and TV 5. The Loznica-based Lotel is also transferring into their ownership. During January and February, Zaple Media Group LLC established 11 and acquired at least two local portals.
The venture into the local media market by the Belgrade-based company Best Media Team and the Novi Sad-based Zaple Media Group is likely not yet complete.
Cenzolovka reported on the mass purchase of media in cities where local elections are being prepared at the end of January.
However, Best Media Team has since become the owner of both Televizija Priboj and the company Televizija V5 from Valjevo, under which the local portal valjevo5.rs operates. According to our information, either it or one of the companies owned by Alo Media System doo Beograd will soon acquire the Loznica-based Lotel.
Zaple Media Group doo established 11 local portals and purchased at least two more during January and February of this year.
Among the local media that have come under the ownership of Zaple Media Group is Užice – Oglasna tabla, one of the most-read portals in this city.
TV Priboj purchased, Lotel should prepare
The Informational Center Priboj and Televizija V5 from Valjevo have officially come under the ownership of Best Media Team, which was registered at the end of December last year. On January 13, this company purchased two Užice television stations – TV Lav plus and TV 5.
The sole owner of this company is Alo Media System doo Beograd. Within this and several related companies, numerous media operate, including the daily newspaper Alo, the eponymous portal, and many other media outlets.
Shortly, the Loznica television station Lotel is expected to join this media group. According to unofficial sources, employees of this television station have already been informed that the media house will receive a new owner.
The Cenzolovka team attempted to gather official information regarding the sale of Lotel by sending inquiries to the email addresses of this television station. Responses had not arrived by the time this article was published.
However, that something is brewing at Lotel, aside from local rumors, is evidenced by data from the Business Registers Agency. The company Lotel plus doo Loznica, under which the eponymous television station and the Loznički nedeljnik newspaper operate, was also the owner of the company Radio TV Podrinje doo Loznica until last week.
However, since February 11, Dragan Mandić has been registered as the owner of Radio TV Podrinje doo Loznica. He is also the owner of Lotel plus doo, as well as several other companies that include, in addition to the radio, the television and portal Lotel, RTV Podrinje, Regional "San radio," and the portal Mojaloznica.
Interestingly, in mid-January of this year, Mandić also became a co-founder and minority owner of the company Infomačva doo Šabac. The majority stake of 80 percent in this company is held by Best Media Team doo Beograd.
13 portals, about thirty Facebook pages, and one editor
The Užice portal Užice – Oglasnatabla.com received a new owner on February 20. A few days earlier, the existing editorial team announced on this media house's Facebook profile that they no longer participate in the management of the portal "nor bear responsibility for future content, opinions, and editorial decisions."
Along with the portal, they emphasized that a total of 17 Facebook profiles were sold, on which news was disseminated, including Užice – Oglasna tabla, Belgrade – Oglasna tabla, Zlatibor – Oglasna tabla, Kragujevac – Oglasna tabla, and so on.
This portal, as well as the Drina info portal from Bajina Bašta, was purchased by Zaple Media Group, and will be edited by Gradimir Banković.
Banković, who appears in the media as a representative of the Center for Social Stability, an organization behind several films targeting government critics, will now edit 13 predominantly local portals.
Zaple Media Group has established 11 media portals since the beginning of 2026. The latest is Snaga juga, registered on February 20.
Among these portals are Stara Pazova uživo, Nova Pazova uživo, Podunavlje uživo, Srbija na istoku, Palanačke vesti, Glas Aranđelovca, Pre i posle, Pre i posle info, Nekad i sad, and Nekad i sad info.
It is not excluded that there will be more, especially considering that some of these sites are already extensively quoting and linking texts in the Media Register of still unregistered portals such as lucaniuzivo.rs.
