Alo has acquired the local television stations TV-5 and Lav Plus from Užice, and has established two additional companies.
Television 5 and TV Lav Plus, both from Užice, changed owners on January 13 and 14 of this year and are now owned by the company Alo Media System, which publishes the daily newspaper and portal Alo, as stated in the data from the Business Registers Agency (APR).
The new owner of these two local television stations is the company Best Media Team, officially registered on December 24 of last year, which is owned by Alo Media System. The company is registered at Kosovska 26, Belgrade, where the headquarters of the owning company is located.
This newly established company Alo, as stated in the Business Registers Agency (APR), has also registered two subsidiaries - Miomedia in Mionica on December 30 and Infomačva in Šabac on January 15, in which Dragan Mandić, who is also the owner of the media publisher Lotel Plus from Loznica, holds a 20 percent stake. Interestingly, the contact information provided in the APR for these two companies includes email addresses that contain the words TV Mačva and TV Kolubara, which does not exclude the possibility that they plan to register new local media outlets under these names.
TV-5 Užice was acquired from Ilija Petronijević, the former owner and chief editor, while the television station Lav Plus from the same city, whose publisher is the company Konzum Lav, was purchased from Global Media INC, which is registered in the USA.
TV-5 Užice, which has been in operation since 1994, according to the database of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), received a total of 16,810,000 dinars for 12 projects in media content co-funding competitions in 2025, ranking it 12th on the list of record holders based on the highest financial support received in these competitions.
The former owner of TV-5, Ilija Petronijević, is still listed in the APR as the owner of Radio San and the eponymous portal from that city.
Regional TV Lav Plus, which has been broadcasting since 2005, received support for seven projects in media competitions last year, totaling 5.8 million dinars.
To remind, the company Alo Media System purchased "Rock Radio" from Pink Media Group owned by Željko Mitrović at the end of 2025, after which the former employees of the radio announced they had resigned.
