"Alo" has acquired another local media outlet through its subsidiary.
The company Best Media Team, a subsidiary of Alo Media System which publishes the tabloid Alo, has acquired the company Televizija V5 from Valjevo, which owns the local media outlet valjevo5.rs.
To remind you, the same company purchased Television 5 and TV Lav Plus in January of this year, both based in Užice. Alo Media System is set to acquire "Rock Radio" from Pink Media Group owned by Željko Mitrović by the end of 2025, after which the current employees at the radio station announced their resignations.
The change in ownership structure at Television V5 from Valjevo was registered in the databases of the Business Registers Agency (APR) on February 24, with Best Media Team recorded as the sole owner instead of Milan Milinović, who was also the editor-in-chief of the media outlet valjevo5.rs.
The portal of this Valjevo media outlet is currently unavailable, and they are also broadcasting on YouTube as "Television V5." In the Media Register, they are registered only as an internet portal, whereas they previously held a broadcasting license from REM as a television station.
During 2025, they received 5.2 million dinars in grants for project co-financing of media content in Valjevo, Mionica, and Ub, with 4,250,000 dinars allocated specifically for Valjevo.
Until 2021, this media outlet was owned by Vujić Television from Valjevo and was known as TV Vujić. At that time, REM approved the change in ownership structure in accordance with the Law on Electronic Media, which should still be a requirement. However, due to the absence of the REM Council for over a year, many electronic media outlets are changing owners without their consent.
The company Best Media Team, which acquired this Valjevo media outlet, as well as the two television stations in Užice, was officially registered on December 24 of last year and is owned by Alo Media System. The company is registered at Kosovska 26, Belgrade, where the parent company is also located. The director of the company is Dragan Lazić.
This newly established company, referred to as Alo, has also registered two subsidiaries - Miomedia in Mionica on December 30 and InfoMačva in Šabac on January 15, in which Dragan Mandić holds a 20% stake. Mandić is the owner of the media publisher Lotel Plus from Loznica. Interestingly, the contact details listed for these two companies in the APR include email addresses that contain the words TV Mačva and TV Kolubara, suggesting that they may plan to register new local media under these names.
