ANEM alarm: After Magločistača, the same person is sending threats to IN Media
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) strongly condemns the threats directed at the editorial team of the IN Media portal, which have led to a criminal complaint for the act of endangering safety being filed with the Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime against the individual who sent the threatening message.

The message contains a threat to attack the lives and bodies of editorial members or those close to them, stating: “I'll slaughter your children, you scum. A gang of hooligans and miscreants. There will be a civil war, and God willing, my hands will be stained with blood.”
The IN Media editorial team from Inđija has been under attack since its inception. The editor-in-chief, Verica Marinčić, has been physically assaulted multiple times. She has been targeted by motorcyclists, attacked during protests, and physically thrown out of the city hall in Inđija. Threats and insults are a daily occurrence, including the desecration of her mother's grave.
ANEM reminds that in recent months, the safety of journalists in Serbia has been further compromised, with an increase in threats, pressures, and attacks on female and male journalists who perform their jobs professionally.
We call on the relevant authorities to react without delay, identify, and sanction all individuals who threaten the safety of female and male journalists and hinder their work.

The project "System for the Prevention of Violence and Protection of Journalists" is implemented by ANEM in partnership with Insider TV and the Center for the Development of Local Media, with the support of the European Union and the Balkan Fund for Democracy.
