ANEM: Condemnation of Predrag Azdejković's inappropriate message and a call for the RTS Management Board to take action.

Azdejković wrote online on the day the news was announced about the passing of the famous cartoonist Predrag Koraksić Koraks, “Let Petričić prepare…”

ANEM assesses that this is an absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable reaction, especially considering that Azdejković holds the position of a member of the RTS Management Board.

We remind that Dušan Petričić was recently subjected to threats along with the editorial team of the weekly “Radar,” where he regularly publishes cartoons, and such statements further encourage the jeopardization of his safety.

ANEM calls on the RTS Management Board to urgently respond to this statement, disassociate itself, and condemn it, as this is not the first time Azdejković has behaved inappropriately in public and harmed the already shaken reputation of the public media service.

We also note that at this moment there is no Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media (REM) to respond in such situations, as it is the only body that can resolve issues and appoint members of the RTS Management Board.
