ANEM invites the public to support the editorial team of the Pančevo Si Ti portal.
The editorial office of the Pančevo Si Ti (PST) portal has called on the public to assist in raising 163,700 dinars, which their collaborator from Kovin, Slobodan Dukić, is obligated to pay to Aleksandra Alavanji, the former director of the local preschool institution, according to a final ruling by the Appellate Court in Belgrade.
Dukić wrote critically about her activities for the PST portal in May 2022, after which a lawsuit was filed against him, which the editorial team assesses as a SLAPP lawsuit. The deadline for the payment of the awarded amount is August 12, and PST warns that this unplanned expense jeopardizes the regular operations of their media outlet.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) calls on everyone who is able to support the editorial team by making a donation in an amount of their choosing.
