Dragan Bujošević appointed as acting director of RTS, decision on the new director by March 12.
The Management Board of the Public Media Institution Radio-Television of Serbia appointed Dragan Bujošević as the acting general director of RTS at today’s regular meeting, it was announced after the meeting.

They add that the mandate of the general director expires on February 3, 2026, and the decision regarding the announced public competition for the appointment of the general director of RTS will be made by the Management Board no later than March 12.
Previously, in the competition for the general director of RTS, a total of six candidates met the requirements. On Monday, January 26, an application was received from Dragoljub Stankić, and the Management Board determined that he meets the competition requirements.
At the previous meeting, 10 applications were opened, of which five were taken into consideration.
The candidates who, as stated, have complete and valid applications are Dejan Stanković, Slađana Ivančević, Miloš Tanasković, Manja Grčić, and Stanislav Veljković.
However, there are public disputes regarding the diploma of Manja Grčić, obtained abroad, specifically whether it has been validated and whether she has the necessary 240 ECTS credits.
Stanislav Veljković announced that he has withdrawn his candidacy due to irregularities in the competition.
The Management Board of Radio-Television of Serbia made adecision to re-announce the public competition for the appointment of the general director of RTS on December 15, as none of the candidates who met the requirements of the first competition received the necessary two-thirds majority of votes.
