Dragoljub Stankić is the sixth candidate for the position of General Director of RTS.
At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Public Media Institution Radio-Television of Serbia, another application was opened for the competition for the appointment of the General Director of RTS. As announced, a total of six candidates met the competition requirements.

RTS states that the application was timely sent via Post of Serbia on January 16 and was received on January 23, following the public opening of applications on January 22.
The application was submitted by Dragoljub Stankić, a former editor of the radio website who is now retired, and the Board of Directors established that he meets the competition requirements.
At the previous meeting, 10 applications were opened, of which five were taken into consideration.
The candidates with complete and valid applications are Dejan Stanković, Slađana Ivančević, Miloš Tanasković, Manja Grčić, and Stanislav Veljković.
The Board of Directors will make a decision within the legal period of 45 days, and in the meantime, interviews will be conducted with the candidates.
The Board of Directors of Radio-Television of Serbia made a decision to reissue the public competition for the appointment of the General Director of RTS on December 15, after none of the candidates who met the requirements of the first competition received the necessary two-thirds majority of votes.
