OSCE Mission in Serbia: We are deeply concerned about the death threats against journalists from TV N1.
The OSCE Mission in Serbia and the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Jan Bratu, are deeply concerned about the recent death threats against journalists from TV N1, as stated on the official account of the Mission.

"We welcome the swift response of the Serbian police and prosecutor's office in investigating these threats in accordance with Serbia's obligations under the 2018 Decision of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE regarding the safety of journalists," the statement reads.
This is just one of many incidents in recent weeks and months targeting journalists and media in Serbia, Bratu reminded.
"All cases must be investigated, and the perpetrators brought to justice. Differences in opinions should never be used to justify threats, harassment, or violence," he stated.
It should be noted that N1 television recently sent an official letter to all relevant institutions of the European Union and international organizations dealing with the protection of journalists and media freedom, highlighting the dramatic escalation of threats and state-sponsored intimidation directed against journalists and the N1 editorial team in Serbia.
