The attacker on the N1 team has not yet been apprehended; the Prosecutor's Office states that they are still searching for him.
The search for the person who attacked the N1 television news crew in front of the tent settlement known as "Ćacilend" on November 20 and broke the camera and tripod is still ongoing, it was stated to N1 by the Prosecutor's Office. Although the journalists have identified the suspect, according to the latest information from the relevant prosecutor's office, he has not been arrested even after 20 days since the incident.

The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has instructed the police to urgently establish the identity of the assailant and collect all relevant recordings and evidence. However, to date, the prosecutor's office has no confirmation regarding any arrests.
Journalist Maja Nikolić and cameraman Ivan Pavlović, who were on an assignment that day, provided statements to the prosecutor's office the day after the incident. They reported that the assailant violently threatened them not to film and then, in front of the police, seized the camera and tripod and smashed them. The police were present at the scene but did not intervene.
Journalistic associations have strongly condemned this incident and called on the authorities to arrest the perpetrator as soon as possible, as well as hold accountable the police officers who were present but did not take action.
