The silence of the leaders of KK Partizan and the ABA League regarding threats to Brankica Stanković is unacceptable.

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) strongly condemns the threats directed at Brankica Stanković by a group of "Partizan" supporters from the stands of the Belgrade Arena during the basketball matches "Partizan – Budućnost," held on June 10 and 12, 2025.

The silence of the leaders of KK Partizan and the ABA League regarding threats to Brankica Stanković is unacceptable.

More than fifteen years have passed since the first death threat was made against the editor-in-chief of “Insajder” during a match held in December 2009 at the stadium of the football club “Partizan.” Authorities, management, police chiefs, prosecutors, and judges have changed, but one thing has remained the same until today—such serious and dangerous threats have become commonplace and go unpunished, turning into a kind of fan folklore at matches of this club.

All the mentioned institutions and individuals bear responsibility for this state of affairs, as they, by remaining silent and turning a blind eye, do not wish to offend the aforementioned fans. ANEM reminds the public that we will not cease to call out those responsible for their inaction regarding the threats directed at the multiple award-winning editor-in-chief and editorial team of TV Insajder, who, due to their professional engagement in investigative journalism, have been enduring insults and threats that endanger their lives for two full decades.

The silence and lack of reaction from Ostoja Mijailović, the president of the Management Board of KK Partizan and a leader of the ABA League, under which the mentioned matches took place in Belgrade, is unacceptable. By adopting such a stance, they legitimize this behavior, becoming, in a sense, accomplices in this intolerable act, which will continue to manifest as threats until the leaders publicly address the issue. Sponsors of this competition and club, who do not condemn the grotesque chanting that endangers the safety of the journalist and her family, are certainly also complicit.
