Since the beginning of the year, 52 new media outlets have been registered in Serbia.
As of the beginning of 2026, a total of 52 new media outlets have been officially registered in Serbia, according to data from the Media Register of the Business Registers Agency (APR). Currently, the Media Register lists 2,312 public media outlets.

The research conducted by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) indicates that the highest number of registered internet media is 49, followed by two print media and one radio station. In the last two and a half months, no television stations have been registered.
As a reminder, since January 1, the newly established company Zapple Media Group has founded a total of 11 portals: Snaga juga, "Nekad i sad", "Nekad i sad info", "Pre i posle info", "Pre-i-posle", Stara Pazova uživo, Nova Pazova uživo, Podunavlje uživo, Srbija na istoku, Palanačke vesti, and Glas Aranđelovca. The owner of the Novi Sad-based company that publishes these portals is Milica Lainović, and the director is Gradimir Banković, who is also the editor-in-chief of all 11 new media outlets.
In the Media Register of the Business Registers Agency (APR), the portal Božur has been registered, based in Gračanica, Kosovo, making it the 31st media owned by retired officer Slavko Stijaković. Radoica Milosavljević, who previously owned 12 media outlets, has also recently registered the portal Koreni.
A significant number of the newly registered portals are local media. The following have been registered: Moj Požarevac, owned by Ivan Jezdović, Odžaci u fokusu, owned by Novi Radio Petrovec from Bački Petrovac, Bagljaš Info, launched by the citizens' association "Info centar" led by Bojan Marčeta from Žitište, Moja Bačka Topola and Moj Vrbas, owned by Vesti sa severa, who already own NS uživo and Vojvodina uživo and are connected to Dokumentarna TV.
Other local media on the list include Dabi.rs from Niš, owned by Dejan Marković and the company Green Eye Media, Uticaj TV, owned by Dušan Čairović from Vodice, Svilajnac Online, from the Movement for the Survival of Villages led by Dragan Milosavljević, Bačka Info, launched by the "I Love Sombor" Association, Titel info, from the Youth of Titel Municipality, Šabac reporter, from the Center for Local Issues led by Aleksandar Dragojević, Info Golubac, from the Center for Culture and Development in Golubac, headed by Ivan Đorđević Metodiev from Vranje, and the portal TV Ub, owned by Marko Trifunović.
Some existing local media have also registered their internet portals, including the portal of Radio Petrovec from Bački Petrovac, portal of Somborske novine, portal of Radio Sombor, and Portal AS televizije from Šabac.
In the Media Register since January, there are also Portal Za ekološki odgovor from the association "ZA česme", CESCI BALKANS - Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives in the Balkans, Koznas from the Knowledge Committee of Serbia, Likvidno.info by Nenad Simović from Kraljevo, Ogledalo društva by Snežana Žarković Dražić from Aranđelovac, Nek se čuje glas from the association Okular, Dok Media by Dragan Đukanović from Novi Sad, Svetionik Info by Nemanja Kuča from Pančevo, Identitet by Neđa Katanić from Novi Sad, Phralipe, Fokus Press by Marija Živković from Čačak, Uglavnom registered by the Russian diaspora in Serbia, Budućnost energije, owned by the association Zdravo mladi, and Građanin info from the Center for the Development of Digital Media led by Irena Lazarević from Pirot.
Also on the list are two sports portals: Sremski fudbal and Sportmanija.
The weekly Novi magazin has also registered its internet edition as a separate media outlet, and ANEM has registered its web presentation as an internet public voice.
Večernje novosti have registered Srpski kompas as a weekly and as an internet portal.
Among the new publications, Horeca Journal has been established, owned by Horeca connect, and Goran Medić from Bački Brestovac has founded BB radio.
