Postponed discussion with candidates for members of the REM Council.
At today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for Culture and Information, the opinions of the relevant ministries regarding the implementation of the legal provisions in the process of proposing candidates for members of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media were discussed, as well as a proposal to postpone the Public Hearing on the topic "Discussion with Candidates for Members of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media," the Committee stated in a press release.
The Board, after discussion, has approved the proposed items by a majority vote.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Board, Nevena Đurić, and attended by the members and deputy members of the Board: Marko Atlagić, Uri Emeše, Nataša Milić Milaš, Jovan Janjić, Dalibor Šćekić, Nebojša Bakarec, Branimir Jovanović, Nataša Jovanović, Dušan Marić, Mirko Lukić Šarkanović, Branko Miljuš, Lepomir Ivković, and Ivana Rokvić.
As a reminder, due to irregularities in the selection process for candidates for the REM Council, 78 authorized nominators and 16 candidates have withdrawn from the selection process.
