The Basic Court in Novi Sad has prohibited the airing of the controversial advertisement by the Center for Social Stability.

The court order prohibits the Center for Social Stability from publishing and making available to the public, through the television channels Pink, Prva, B92, K1, as well as any other television channel, and via the social network X (formerly Twitter) or any other social network, a video that contains the logos of the television stations N1 and Nova S, recordings of their journalists, as well as claims that these journalists "lie and spread hatred."

The temporary ban remains in effect until the conclusion of the court proceedings initiated by N1 and Nova S, which seek to protect their reputation, the right to professional integrity, and to prevent further dissemination of defamatory content.

The court's decision follows the release of video material by the Center for Social Stability that was broadcast and shared through multiple media channels and social networks, provoking strong reactions from journalists' associations and organizations for the protection of media freedom.
