Another application for the director of RTS was received by mail, and it will be opened on January 26.
On Monday, January 26, during the meeting of the Board of Directors of Radio-Television of Serbia, another application for the competition for the general director of the public service will be opened, which arrived by mail the day after the other applications were opened at the public session.
As stated on the RTS website, the application was "timely sent via Post of Serbia" on January 16, and received by RTS on January 23, the day after the application opening.
Recall that during the public session of the Board of Directors of Radio-Television of Serbia, ten valid applications were opened, and it was concluded that five candidates have complete applications.
The candidates with proper and complete applications are Dejan Stanković, Slađana Ivančević, Miloš Tanasković, Manja Grčić, and Stanislav Veljković.
The candidates whose applications are incomplete are Ivica Mit, Bojana Janketić, Boris Miljević, Milan Milivojević, and Nebojša Tonić.
The Board of Directors will make a decision within the legal period of 45 days, and in the meantime, will conduct interviews with the candidates.
The Board of Directors of Radio-Television of Serbia has made a decision on re-announcing the public competition for the appointment of the General Director of RTS on December 15, since none of the candidates who met the requirements of the first competition received the necessary two-thirds majority of votes.
