RTS has announced a competition for the positions of chief editors of the cultural-educational and drama programs.

Conditions of the Competition:

• Citizenship of the Republic of Serbia and residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbia (certificate of citizenship and certificate of residence);
• Higher education or master's degree (diploma/certificate of educational attainment, i.e., level and title of qualification);
• Prominent media expert proven by exceptional results in television activities;
• At least seven years of work experience in editorial positions (proof of work experience);
• Knowledge of one foreign language;
• Familiarity with the technology of production, provision, and transmission of audio and audio-visual media services, multimedia content, and electronic publication services;
• Organizational and professional abilities proven in previous work;
• A signed statement that the candidate does not hold a public office or a position in a political party, and that they meet other conditions for performing this function in accordance with the law;
• Proof that there are no criminal proceedings against the candidate, not older than three months from the date of publication of the competition, and
• Proof that the candidate has not been convicted, not older than three months from the date of publication of the competition.

All evidence of meeting the conditions of the competition must be submitted in original or certified photocopy.

Submit the signed application for the competition along with a biography and proof of meeting the competition conditions (by mail or in person via the RTS Registry), to the following address:

With the indication:

For the PUBLIC COMPETITION for the appointment of the Editor-in-Chief of the Cultural-Educational Program of Television of Serbia

or

For the PUBLIC COMPETITION for the appointment of the Editor-in-Chief of the Drama and Domestic Series Program of Television of Serbia

Submitted applications will be opened within 10 days from the expiration date for candidate applications.

The General Director will appoint the Editor-in-Chief of the Cultural-Educational Program of Television of Serbia and the Editor-in-Chief of the Drama and Domestic Series Program of Television of Serbia within 45 days from the date of opening applications for the competition, after interviews with the candidates.

If the decision on the appointment is not made within the specified timeframe, a new public competition will be announced.

Candidates will be notified of the results of the public competition within eight days from the date of the decision on the appointment.
