RTV Pančevo is acquiring Radio Television Kragujevac.
Although the previous attempt at the end of 2024 failed, the process of purchasing RTV Kragujevac by RTV Pančevo has now reached the stage of announcing the buyer and formalizing the agreement, reports the portal Pančevo SiTi.

The public call for the sale of 100% of the capital of RTV Kragujevac was announced on June 23, with a starting price of €144,290.31, while the deposit amounts to nearly €14,500.
The application deadline expired on July 14, 2025, and the only bidder was Radio-televizija Pančevo d.o.o., Pančevo. The Ministry of Economy approved the application on July 17, 2025, and declared RTV Pančevo the buyer on July 27, 2025.
The process is still ongoing — which means that the contract or formal transfer of capital has not yet been completed, but RTV Pančevo has been officially declared the buyer.
The owner of Radio-televizija Pančevo d.o.o. is Tatjana Cuk, who, according to data from the Business Registers Agency (APR), holds 100% of the ownership shares and serves as the director. Although the media company previously belonged to Radoica Milosavljević, a controversial businessman from Kruševac and a former cadre of the Socialist Party of Serbia who transferred to the Serbian Progressive Party, since 2024 we have recorded a change in ownership, with Gašić's associate transferring all capital and shares to Tatjana Cuk.
All media associated with Radoica Milosavljević were systematically supported from local budgets, often through public procurement and without adherence to legal and ethical standards. This kind of reverse financial logic: less transparency — more unfounded contracts with authorities, confirms the media-political symbiosis that was established earlier and still functions seamlessly to the detriment of citizens. RTV Pančevo is the unequivocal "favorite" of the budget. The most valuable media contract amounted to as much as 15 million dinars, which RTV Pančevo received for promoting the local government, and this occurred before the television station had a valid broadcasting license — the license was renewed only on November 7, 2024. This is just one example of non-compliance with legal procedures. Competitions have been regularly avoided, including in cases of allocating funds through public procurement contracts to tabloids Alo and Informer, as well as the local portal ePancevo, which is also listed among the media that violate the Journalists' Code. The commission that decides on these substantial awards for praising the authorities consists of individuals whose qualifications for that position are unknown, and we do not know if they have conflicts of interest or if they are guided by media and ethical standards. Given that the law provides for the independent and professional operation of such commissions, there is a noticeable absence of members' biographies and records of the commission's work on the city website.
The purchase of RTV Kragujevac by RTV Pančevo, at a price of nearly €145,000, signals a recomposition of the media landscape with the strengthening of a network of loyal media vertically to enhance the influence of the Serbian Progressive Party. Seemingly a local transaction, it conceals a pattern of concentration of power. The model of this local centralization indicates processes where local media, instead of possessing autonomy, are merged into a single network under political patronage. It is noticeable that this transaction was carried out quietly, accompanied by a lack of transparency and the typical Progressive Party mantra called: one bidder. We do not have clear and independent evaluations of value, nor a business plan. This is not just a business decision, but also a quiet consolidation of the propaganda machinery.
Serbia is a space closed to pluralism. Serbia is synonymous with the erosion of transparency and public interest. Although public criticism is often directed at nationally broadcast television stations, local ones are replicas of the aforementioned, and their deterioration typically occurs without much resistance. The strategy of taking over any trace of objectivity in local reporting has already been rounded off; this is now a reorganization tailored to the needs of the political moment.
