Three new local media outlets, under the same ownership and with the same editor, registered in 2026.
As of the beginning of 2026, the official Media Register in Serbia has added three new local media outlets: Serbia in the East, Palanka News, and Voice of Aranđelovac.

These are portals covering local news in cities in Eastern Serbia, Smederevska Palanka, and Aranđelovac, all of which were registered with the Business Registers Agency (APR) on January 9 of this year.
All three media outlets are owned by the company Zaple Media Group LLC from Novi Sad, whose owner is Milica Lainović, and the director is Gradimir Banković.
The director of this company, which was established on December 11 of last year, is also registered in the Media Register as the editor-in-chief and responsible editor of all three new local portals.
Gradimir Banković has also appeared in the media in recent years, analyzing social issues and the situation in the country as a representative of the Center for Social Stability. This non-governmental organization is known for organizing last year's counter-protests, which were attended by the state leadership.
The Center for Social Stability has produced several films targeting dissenters of the government, including "(De)Blocking" and "NGO Dossier," which were broadcast on cable television and national frequencies as well as on social media.
Banković is also the owner and director of Elementum Media LLC from Novi Sad, registered for the production and broadcasting of television programs, and at the same time, he is the legal representative of the association "Kogitatum Center," which received funding from the Ministry of Environmental Protection in 2021 through a competition aimed at the civil sector.
