Agreed upon 10 candidates for members of the REM Council in five categories.
Members of the Assembly Committee for Culture and Information, along with authorized proposers who did not withdraw from the process, agreed on Friday, June 13, on ten candidates for members of the REM Council in five categories.

From the category of electronic media, Miloš Garić and Jovana Vitez were selected as representatives, while Nada Vujović and Maja Mišković Marković represent journalistic associations, Vladimir Đurić and Jovan Rašuo represent artistic associations, and Stevica Smederevac and Žarko Simović represent independent institutions. As candidates from universities, the proposers are Bojan Bilbija and Misala Pramenković.
The meetings of authorized proposers to determine a joint proposal of two candidates for a member of the REM Council were scheduled to continue on Monday, June 16, but they were canceled. The parliamentary committee stated that participants would be timely informed about the new date.
On the same day, it should be noted, a total of 78 authorized proposers and 16 candidates withdrew from the process of electing members of the REM Council. In as many as seven out of nine categories, both proposers and candidates withdrew.
"Our decision came after none of the 30 objections submitted by legitimate proposers were considered, and warnings about gross violations of the law and misinterpretations of fundamental legal norms were ignored," states the explanation from this group of proposers.
In this process, there were 46 candidates from 189 proposers, whose biographies can be read at this link.
