“When it comes to the criminal act of violation of honor and reputation, it is evident that this act was committed through the texts about journalist Milojko Pantić published on the Facebook page of Velimir Bulatović, which will, of course, be decided by the court. What is concerning is the kind of threat to the safety of journalists, which can be interpreted from qualifications such as being labeled as a 'traitor of Serbian identity,' 'hooligan,' that he should be arrested, and also from Milojko Pantić's testimony that the accused threatened to come in front of his house in Belgrade. Unpunished verbal attacks and the labeling of journalists as 'traitors,' as well as threats, can easily escalate; therefore, colleague Pantić's persistence in seeking to influence the cessation of such attacks through a private lawsuit and ensuring that the punishment serves as a warning to others who increasingly jeopardize the safety of journalists and citizens in similar ways is crucial,” emphasizes and warns Veran Matić.

As a reminder, journalist Milojko Pantić has filed a private lawsuit against Velimir Bulatović from Vranjska Banja for the criminal act of violation of honor and reputation, as he reacted with offensive words on his Facebook profile to the citizens' protest in Vranjska Banja regarding the forgery scandal, where journalist Pantić also addressed the citizens.
