According to him, such threats mainly come after journalists are targeted in Informer and other tabloids.

"It is very important for us to protect ourselves. Mutual solidarity is important; we need to look out for each other, share experiences and information," stated Matić.

When asked by Nova who will protect the media, given that the relevant authorities are not doing so, he emphasized that he expects citizens who have already protested to protect journalists. He also added that it is important to report on the appalling costs of repression.
