Veran Matić filed a complaint with the Press Council against six media portals.

The text was published on the portals 24sedam, Oglasna tabla, Lučani Uživo, NS Uživo, Drina info, and Prijepolje info.

As Veran Matić stated in his complaint, the articles present a series of untruths and unfounded accusations, without any opportunity to hear the "other side," which has damaged his reputation without any basis, constituting a violation of several provisions of the Journalists' Code of Serbia.

"The headline contains a lie that Cenzolovka is under my patronage. I do not distance myself from this significant professional and important media outlet, but it is known that I have no institutional ties to Cenzolovka. The first sentence continues in the same tone, claiming that I promote the false state of Kosovo through my publications. I interpret the direct address to me in the last sentence as a threat, within which all the previously stated lies are packaged. I see this as a continuation of the campaign of threats from the Center for Social Stability since the propaganda piece 'Zlo doba 2' was created, which was distributed with accompanying text through 25 portals affiliated with this Center, about which the Complaints Commission has already expressed its opinion," Matić stated.

As a reminder, in February, the Complaints Commission of the Press Council unanimously concluded that 25 portals violated the Journalists' Code of Serbia with articles about Veran Matić, specifically excerpts from a video produced by the Center for Social Stability that was broadcasted on B92, Prva, Informer, and Documentary TV.

At that time, it was assessed that these articles violated several points of the journalistic code, involving the media outlets Informer.rs, Srbija Danas, Alo.rs, Palanačke vesti, Glas Aranđelovca, Stara Pazova uživo, Nova Pazova uživo, Srbija na istoku, Podunavlje uživo, Knjaževačka hronika, Vojvodina uživo, Lučani uživo, NS uživo, RTV Pančevo, Novosadska TV, 24 sedam, Dnevnik.rs, 025.rs, Gradske info, Dunavtelevizija.rs, RTV Bap, 025info.rs, Drina Info, Moja Bačka Topola, and 024info.rs.
