The authorities and tabloids misled the public during the protests day after day: An average of 32 manipulations per day on just three portals.
For six months, the FakeNews tracker archived manipulative news about blockades and protests across Serbia on the portals Informer, Alo, and Novosti, recording an impressive total of 5,773 manipulative news items – an average of 32 per day. The propaganda efforts were intensive and organized. They identified as many as 82 politicians who initiated or joined these deceptions, with Vučić being the record holder with 557 problematic claims.
