ANEM ALARM: The horrifying threats and harassment against journalist and photo reporter Marko Dragoslavić continue.

Dragoslavić reported last night that unknown individuals were ringing his intercom and then banging on his apartment door. He called the Ministry of the Interior, and a patrol arrived at the scene, but the perpetrators had left in the meantime. Prior to that, around 8 PM, Dragoslavić reported to the Zvezdara Police Station a communication he perceived as threatening.

Having previously reported being followed and receiving death threats from an unknown individual, which Veran Matić, the president of the Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) and a member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists, reported to the prosecution, Dragoslavić posted a video on his Instagram account of the person who had been following him and whom he reported.

On that post, there was a comment from an unknown D. J., who has a gun in his profile picture, claiming that Dragoslavić edited the video himself and that he "provoked the unknown individual."

Dragoslavić links this incident to a situation of intimidation at an illegal construction site in Stepin Lug, after which he experienced being followed and receiving death threats.

Veran Matić, who also operates the Safe Line for Journalists at 0800 100 115, has once again informed the prosecution about the recent events, in the form of an addition to the previous report, as there is reasonable suspicion that these events are connected to the first incident we reported on January 15.

ANEM demands that the relevant authorities, prosecution, and police urgently investigate the cases of intimidation, threats, and harassment against Marko Dragoslavić and bring to justice all individuals who threaten the safety of this independent journalist and photojournalist.
