ANEM ALARM: New death threats reported against Marko Vidojković and Nenad Kulačin.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) has reported to the Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime new death threats directed at Marko Vidojković and Nenad Kulačin, the authors of the show "Good, Bad, Evil" and columnists for the newspaper Danas.

A threat was issued via the Instagram profile of ANEM, under a post titled "ANEM ALARM New Accompaniment to the Death of Marko Vidojković and Nenad Kulačin." The threat, sent from the Instagram account @aleksandar.novitovic67, reads: "Kill them as soon as possible so they stop talking nonsense."
“This is the third time that new death threats have been written in the comments regarding posts about threats to these two authors, which is particularly concerning because it is clearly targeted harassment and stalking, intended to intimidate both them and their families,” stated Veran Matić, President of the ANEM Board, member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists, and operator of the Journalists’ Safe Line at 0800 100 115.
ANEM demands that the relevant authorities urgently process all threats that Vidojković and Kulačin constantly receive in order to send a clear message that this type of intimidation of media workers in Serbia is unacceptable and punishable. We warn that such continuous threats, which jeopardize the safety of media workers, can have harmful and far-reaching consequences.
We also appeal to all journalists, male and female, and media representatives to regularly report any kind of safety threats while performing their jobs, as such instances need to be documented and counted to draw the attention of both the domestic and international public to the pressures faced by the media in Serbia.
All journalists have access to a toll-free phone number and direct line from ANEM at 0800 100 115, where media representatives can obtain explanations regarding the legal treatment of offenses and the procedures that need to be initiated to report safety threats to the relevant institutions, police, and prosecution.
