Four local governments are delayed in the distribution of funds for media competitions.
Out of 159 announced competitions for project co-financing of media content in Serbia, 153 have been completed. In four cases, the legal deadline for making decisions on the allocation of funds has expired, and the process is still ongoing for two competitions that were announced later.

Three local governments are still delayed in publishing the calls for this year, as the deadline was March 1, and these are Surdulica, Vrbas, and Gadžin Han.
In the local governments of Bujanovac, Varvarin, Boljevac, and Sjenica, the deadline for submitting projects for the first call was in April, which means that the 90-day period from the end of the call, which is legally stipulated for making decisions on the allocation of funds, has expired.
These four local governments have not yet published decisions on allocations either in the Unified Information System (JIS) of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications or on the official websites of the agencies issuing the calls.
In Boljevac, Varvarin, and Sjenica, the names of the commission members have not yet been published.
The deadline for applications in Sjenica for the second call was in May, and in Lučani in June, meaning that the 90-day period has not yet passed for these two calls.
Based on the 153 completed calls for project co-financing of media content in Serbia for the year 2026, funds totaling 1.84 billion dinars have been allocated.
The largest individual record holder in terms of the amount of funds received so far is Zona plus from Niš, while, when considering groups, the leading position is held by the publishers of the tabloids Alo and Informer with their subsidiary companies, followed by the media houses of Radoica Milosavljević, and the company of Goran Lalić - Srbija Danas, which owns Novi Sad TV, as well as Dnevnik Vojvodina Press and Radio Television Stara Pazova.
