ANEM ALARM: Ominous and dangerous threats to journalists such as “I will rip out your heart, Ustaša...” require the immediate arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
The attacker on journalists in Novi Sad issued the most horrific threats to journalists Lazar Dinić and Ivan Bjelić from Revolt.

Through the Instagram account KUMZORZO12 (kumzorzo122019), a person threatened journalist Lazar Dinić, stating that they would attack his life and body with the words: "Ustašo, your end is near, I will fuck your mother, the ustasha whore." They also sent a threat to journalist Ivan Bjelić via Instagram message, saying: "Ustaška pičkice, I will find you, you will scream like a pig, I will fuck everything living and dead, ustasha son of a whore, I will rip out your ustasha heart, I will cut you into pieces, tick-tock keyboard warriors."
In a report to the Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime, submitted by lawyer Veljko Milić, an operator at the Safe Line for reporting threats and attacks on journalists, it is stated that these threats constitute a criminal offense of endangering security under Article 138, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.
These threats were made after journalists Lazar Dinić and Ivan Bjelić shared a media post from Revolt, which stated that a certain Đorđe Hrnjak was one of the attackers on journalist Žarko Bogosavljević on February 16, 2026, in front of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, about which the Higher and Basic Public Prosecutor's Offices in Novi Sad have already been informed.
"The swift reaction of the prosecutors in Novi Sad, who requested all information from the police regarding the assailants and violence against journalists, requires an urgent response from the police—arresting the identified assailant of Žarko Bogosavljević, who has committed a new criminal offense with these threats. Only through arrest and swift prosecution can we prevent this evidently uncontrolled violent individual from attacking the life and body of Lazar Dinić and Ivan Bjelić, as well as other journalists. ANEM demands that preventive measures be taken to stop the perpetrator and the escalation of violence against journalists. The past year has been absolutely record-breaking in terms of the number of threats and attacks, and already in the first month and a half of this year, it is evident that the number of attacks could be even higher. We must not allow violence or let any media worker fall victim," stated Veran Matić, President of the ANEM Management Board, Coordinator of the Safe Line for reporting threats and attacks on journalists, and member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists.
