Nine local governments are delayed in the distribution of funds for media competitions.
Out of 159 announced competitions for project co-financing of media content in Serbia, 144 have been completed, in nine cases the legal deadline for making a decision on the allocation of funds has expired, and the process is still ongoing for six competitions that were announced later.

Three local governments are still delayed in publishing the calls for projects for this year, as the deadline was March 1, and these are Surdulica, Vrbas, and Gadžin Han.
In the local governments of Sečanj, Rača, Trgovište, Kikinda, Blace, Vladičin Han, Topola, and Ada, the deadline for project submissions expired in March, in Boljevac at the beginning of April, which means that the 90-day period for decision-making regarding the allocation of funds, as legally prescribed after the completion of the call, has expired. To date, these local governments have not published any decisions on the allocations either on the Unified Information System (JIS) of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications or on the official websites of the authorities issuing the calls.
In Boljevac, the names of the commission members have not yet been announced.
The deadline for applications in Sjenica for one call, Varvarin, and Bujanovac was in the last week of April, in Sjenica for a second call in May, and in Šabac and Lučani in June, which means that the 90-day period for these six calls has not yet expired.
Commissions have not yet been appointed in Sjenica, Varvarin, and Lučani.
Based on the 144 completed calls for co-financing media content projects in Serbia for 2026, a total of 1.78 billion dinars has been allocated.
The largest individual recipient of funding so far is Zona plus from Niš, and when looking at groupings, the top position is held by the publishers of the tabloids Alo and Informer with their subsidiary companies, as well as the media company of Radoica Milosavljević, followed by Goran Lalić's company - Serbia Today, which owns Novi Sad TV, as well as Dnevnik Vojvodina Press and Radio Television Stara Pazova.
