Who received the funds for media in Niš?

Who received the funds for media in Niš?

Five hours, according to the minutes, was the duration of the discussion and decision-making by the members of the Commission for the Contest for Co-financing Media Content Production Projects in the territory of the City of Niš, which includes Miodrag Popov, Dragana Stefanović, and Branimir Grulović. In the end, from 63 project applications, 54,170,000 dinars were allocated to 20 projects.

The largest amount of funding went to the owner of RTV Zona plus, whose legal representative is Slađana Ostojić, with two projects – “Welcome to Niš” with 19,900,000 dinars and “Is this Niš – Oh, it really is!” with 4,100,000 dinars.

This represents an increase compared to last year when this media outlet received 18.3 million dinars.

Next on the list is Kopernika, owned by Zvezdan Milovanović, a former SNS commissioner, which received 7,200,000 dinars for the project “Pride of Niš.”

More than a million was also awarded to Libero investment 381 from Smederevo for the project “Ecology in Focus – Niš” valued at 3.9 million dinars, City Marketing Center of Oliver Paunović for the project “Can traffic in Niš and electromobility go hand in hand?” valued at 3.8 million dinars, then Jasmina Ranđelović and Mina media for the project “Colorful Community” valued at 2,190,000 dinars, Bojan Ranđelović and Petar Pan 018 for the project “My Economic Environment” with 2 million dinars, the Association Center for the Modernization of Society and Transformation of the Local Community for the project “Roma in Focus” valued at 1.5 million dinars, and Violeta Milićević from the TV and audio production agency Uno media for the project “60 Years of Film Encounters in Niš: Digital Chronicle of the Jubilee” valued at 1,080,000 dinars.

Unlike previous years when they received the most funding in the media contest, this year there are no media outlets owned by the family of Vidosava Vitka Radomirović, whose Belami was removed from the offer of Telekom this year.

Some are missing, while others are on the list for the first time – the Association Niška inicijativa, represented legally by Srđan Nonić, will receive 590,000 dinars for the project “Media in Service of Citizens.”

Six other projects will receive between half a million and a million dinars. For the project “When Photographs Come to Life: Niš Between Two World Wars,” the agency Visiongate studio will be allocated 950,000 dinars, while Radio Talas will receive 900,000 dinars for the project “Consumer Rights.”

Center for Media Vodeničarski, formerly headed by Niške vesti editor Maja Vodeničarski, will receive 800,000 dinars for the project “What Do Talents from Niš Really Need?” For Portal Ramonda 1874 and the project “Youth and Sports: Niš on the Map of Success,” 700,000 dinars will be allocated, and for Banker Radio and the project “Ecology, Energy, and Life,” 650,000 dinars.

Media Factory Plus from Crnatova near Vlasotince will receive 570,000 dinars for the project “Knowledge for Niš.”

As in the previous few years, Južne vesti are not participating in the City of Niš contest, nor in municipal contests in southern Serbia.
