The tenth training session for writing media projects was held at the premises of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) in Belgrade.

A three-day training session for the safety of journalists employed at Nova.rs was held by the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM).

Members of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists (SRG) held a meeting in Kula with journalists from media outlets in this and surrounding cities who are reporting on the electoral campaign and will be monitoring the elections. This is the third meeting in municipalities and cities where elections will take place on March 29, aimed at agreeing on mechanisms for rapid response to potential attacks on journalists, which have been recorded in numerous locations where local elections have been held.

In every location on the day of local elections in the past few months in Serbia, there have been violent incidents, violent obstruction of media workers, and attacks on journalists. The attacks most often occur from violent groups that are identified as the security of the ruling party. The police have not protected journalists in any of these cases, even when they were present at such situations, said Veran Matić, President of the Managing Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) and member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists.

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), after conducting nine training sessions in various cities, is organizing a new workshop on writing media projects for media outlets from all parts of Serbia, which will be held in Belgrade.

The journalists' section of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists (SRG) will visit all the locations where the local elections scheduled for March 29 will take place. On the day of the elections, we will be deployed everywhere the elections are held, said Veran Matić, President of the Management Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), a member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists and operator of the Safe Line for Journalists 0800 100 115.

Members of the group Journalists Against Violence Against Women, Jovana Gligorijević and Ana Manojlović, held the fourth specialized training for female journalists and media workers in Kragujevac.

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) is conducting a series of activities in 2025 and 2026 aimed at improving the safety of media workers in Serbia as part of the project "System for the Prevention of Violence and Protection of Journalists," which is supported by the European Union, the Kingdom of Norway, and the Balkan Fund for Democracy, as well as the Ministry of Information.
