Call for a support gathering for the N1 editorial team on April 14th.
We invite colleagues, citizens, and residents to gather in front of the N1 television editorial office in New Belgrade on Tuesday, April 14th, at 7:30 PM, to collectively show solidarity with the journalists of this media outlet.
In the days gone by, employees at N1 have raised concerns about actions that jeopardize the future of this media's editorial independence. Therefore, it is important to provide them with clear and visible support and to show that they are not alone in this fight.
We must defend professional and independent journalism. We must alert both the domestic and international public to the seriousness of the situation in Serbia.
The event will feature speakers: Bojana Savović, prosecutor; Seka Sablić, actress; and Nađa Šolaja, participant of the N1 summer school.
A letter from Nemanja Vidić will also be read.
