GMINFO has once again declined funding for project co-financing this year.
The gminfo portal has rejected the funds allocated this year through the competition for co-financing projects for the production of media content in the field of public information for the year 2025, which was announced by the municipality of Gornji Milanovac.

The editorial team of the portal informed the Municipality of Gornji Milanovac yesterday that it will not accept the allocated funds.
The Municipal Council, at its meeting held on May 30, accepted the proposal of the expert committee and allocated 100,000 dinars out of the requested 688,000 dinars.
The total value of the project is, in fact, 1,068,000 dinars, and the difference would be financed by the municipality from its own funds, as stipulated by law.
The editorial team believes that the allocated amount of 100,000 dinars is insufficient for the quality implementation of the proposed project, and it views the decision of the expert committee, in which only Miodrag Popov is recognized as a relevant name in the field of journalism, as the will of the local government and media actors close to the authorities, who have usurped the right to manage citizens' money through the existing model of project co-financing for media. This is evidenced by the amounts allocated to other media, primarily those that uncritically support the government and daily violate the law and professional ethical codes.
It is worth noting that in the ten years since the municipality's establishment, this is the fifth time that the editorial team has refused the allocated money for project co-financing.
