ANEM ALARM: Prosecutors in Zaječar protect violent police officers, but not journalists on assignment.

While carrying out journalistic duties, specifically covering the protests in Zaječar on October 11, 2025, the journalist from "Glas Zaječara," Miljko Stojanović, was obstructed by the Chief of the Zaječar Police Department, Igor Jevtić, and an officer from the traffic police unit of the same police department, Ivan Vidanović. During this incident, Stojanović was pushed, knocked to the ground, and his mobile phone – a work tool – was seized and smashed against the pavement. The journalist was also struck with shields on his body and physically pinned against the wall with considerable force.
