Inappropriate interference by the President of the Republic in the electoral process for the members of the REM Council.
In last night's appearance on the news program of Radio-Television of Serbia, President Aleksandar Vučić expressed views that can be characterized as unlawful interference in the process of selecting members of the REM Council and its future operations, according to the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), which is the authorized proposer of candidates for the REM Council.

ANEM ALARM: A new threat has been reported to Marko Vidojković, Nenad Kulačin, and the guests of the show "Good, Bad, Evil."
After receiving several threats over the weekend via Facebook accounts, Marko Vidojković and Nenad Kulačin also received a threat directed at them and their guests on the YouTube account of the show "Good, Bad, Evil."

ANEM ALARM: Unknown individuals continue to disrupt the work of journalists with threats in front of the National Assembly of Serbia, while the police protect them.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) calls on representatives of the police not to obstruct the work of journalists reporting in front of the National Assembly of Serbia and to allow the media to safely carry out their work from that public space.

ANEM ALARM: Unacceptable and potentially dangerous behavior of the President towards journalists.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) strongly condemns the behavior of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić towards N1 television journalist Mladen Savatović and reminds the President and all other state officials that they should be aware of the words they speak in public and the potential consequences those words may have.

ANEM ALARM: Threats against Marko Vidojković and Nenad Kulačin continue, with no response from the authorities.
The authors of the show "Dobar loš zao" and columnists for the newspaper Danas, Marko Vidojković and Nenad Kulačin, are among the media workers who have received the highest number of threats in recent years. While the majority of these cases remain unresolved and the perpetrators unpunished, they continue to receive horrifying death threats on the social network Facebook.

ANEM ALARM: Disturbing violent threats against the editorial team of the weekly magazine Radar and cartoonist Dušan Petričić.
Brutal threats directed at the entire editorial team, and especially at the world-renowned cartoonist Dušan Petričić, have arrived at the editorial email address as well as on the Radar portal page. In one of the messages, alongside insults, there are threats of extermination:

ANEM ALARM: Increasing attacks on media workers in Negotin, the Minister of Interior should resign.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) strongly condemns the attacks and interference with the work of media workers in Negotin and calls on the relevant authorities to urgently resolve these cases and all other illegal and unacceptable actions that occurred during the local elections in Negotin, Mionica, and Sečanj. It is particularly unacceptable that the police in Negotin failed to act after an unknown individual from a group of bikers seized the phone of photo reporter Gavrilo Andrić on site.

ANEM alarm: The attacker on the N1 cameraman has been conditionally sentenced to five months in prison.
The special target of physical attacks in the past year has been cameramen and photojournalists. While filming a pre-election rally of the Serbian Progressive Party in Makovište near Kosjerić, N1 television cameraman Marjan Vučetić was attacked from behind.

Journalistic and media associations and unions are calling for an immediate suspension of the process of amending media laws.
Journalistic and media associations and unions demand that the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications immediately suspend the ongoing process of amending the Law on Public Information and Media, the Law on Electronic Media, and the development of a new Media Strategy until conditions for transparent, inclusive, and professional work are ensured.
