17 new members have joined ANEM.
The Management Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) made a decision at its last meeting to admit 17 new members, specifically media outlets.

ANEM ALARM: The dismissal of the correspondent for the French newspaper Le Figaro, Milica Čubrilo Filipović, may represent a dangerous practice.
The correspondent of the renowned French newspaper Le Figaro, Milica Čubrilo Filipović, received information at the beginning of January that her collaboration had been terminated. As the reason, a responsible individual at this media house stated that the former ambassador of France in Belgrade, now a senior official at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, pointed out to the company Dassault, the manufacturer of Rafale aircraft and one of the owners of Le Figaro, that “they have a correspondent in Belgrade who is politically active,” that she was a minister and ambassador, and that this made the collaboration unacceptable (according to the previous director of Le Figaro).

ANEM ALARM: Unacceptable attempt to persecute Nemanja Šarović for comments made under a post on Instagram.
The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Zrenjanin has filed criminal charges against Nemanja Šarović, the president of the movement "Faith, Love, Hope," and a collaborator of KTV from this city, for the criminal offense of obstructing justice, which carries a prison sentence of six months to five years, as well as a monetary fine.

ANEM: Vučić and Brnabić must urgently stop targeting journalists and the media.
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) strongly condemns the incendiary statements made by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Speaker of Parliament, Ana Brnabić, directed against the editorial team of N1 television. We remind that any defamation and targeting of the media by high-ranking government officials directly incites threats and attacks on journalists, which is unacceptable and intolerable in a democratic society.

ANEM ALARM: The unacceptable chilling threat against the plaintiff Bojana Savović must be prosecuted immediately.
For several weeks now, prosecutor Bojana Savović has been subjected to harassment through tabloids and from high-ranking officials, which increasingly represents a uniquely orchestrated campaign aimed at defamation, harassment, spreading falsehoods, and an attempt to halt the engagement of this honorable prosecutor.

ANEM ALARM: Dangerous pathology is spreading unchecked across networks – a hammer on journalists.
In addition to numerous disturbing messages, Nenad Kulačin and Marko Vidojković received multiple death threats on their Instagram accounts.

ANEM ALARM: Ominous and dangerous threats to journalists such as “I will rip out your heart, Ustaša...” require the immediate arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
The attacker on journalists in Novi Sad issued the most horrific threats to journalists Lazar Dinić and Ivan Bjelić from Revolt.

ANEM ALARM: Attacks on female and male journalists, violent disruptions to their work, telephone threats to journalists mentioning violence against their families.
A group of journalists, clearly marked by their press vests, was reporting from the plaza in front of the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad when they were violently attacked by a group of assailants who had been organized and brought to the theater by the SNS.
