The Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) and the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) strongly condemn the threats directed at the female journalists of the Subotica portal Magločistač and urge institutions to finally respond to the increasingly frequent attacks on journalists, whose safety is seriously endangered.

ANEM alarm: Threat to the journalist of the FAR portal from Dimitrovgrad - "something could happen to you."
The editorial office of the FAR portal from Dimitrovgrad reported a threat that was made via a phone call on October 11 to the portal's journalist Sergej Ivanov by D.V. According to Ivanov, during the conversation, D.V. said: "...those who write lies about me could have something happen to them..."

ANEM: Institutions in Kosovo must allow media in the Serbian language to report on local elections.
The Central Election Commission of Kosovo (CEC) has announced that accreditation for monitoring the local elections in Kosovo, which will be held on October 12, has been granted to 29 local and 13 international media outlets, with a total of 573 representatives. There are no media outlets reporting in Serbian on the list of accredited media.
