ANEM ALARM: After the beating of editors and journalists, the magazine Revolt is under death threats.
The journalists of the magazine Revolt, Lazar Dinić and Ivan Bjelić, along with photographer Zorica Popović, were attacked and seriously injured while covering the elections in the vicinity of Bor. The attack on Lazar Dinić has been characterized by journalistic associations as an attempted murder.

Since that day, disturbing messages and death threats have been arriving at the addresses of this magazine on social media.
The latest threat was posted on the Instagram account of Revolt, beneath a call for solidarity with the journalists of N1. A message from the Instagram account "lesicslobodan" stated: "Death to traitors, may the villains burn, the whores and faggots have united against the state, all of you Ustashe should be killed."
On the same page, the same author wrote: "Death to N1."
Somewhat earlier, another message arrived from a different address:
"Oh, Ustashe bastards, how we have urinated on you, from now on we will strictly refuse your Ustashe kidneys."
Veran Matić, the operator of the SOS hotline for reporting threats and attacks on journalists, reported these threats to the Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime.
"More than three weeks have passed since the attacks on several female and male journalists and media workers in Bor and Bajina Bašta. There is still no effective investigation or the filing of charges in these cases. It is particularly concerning that the attempted murder of Lazar Dinić, despite the existence of recordings of the incident and known identities of the attackers, has not yet been adequately investigated by the police, nor has a report been submitted to the competent prosecutor. The lack of an effective response from the institutions encourages perpetrators not only to send death threats but also to repeat serious violence and attempt murder again. We demand that the institutions provide answers as to why charges have not yet been filed for other attacks that occurred on the same election day, including the attack on Zoomer's journalist Darko Gligorijević and Miroslav Panović from the Mačva News YouTube channel," stated Veran Matić, President of the Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media and member of the Permanent Working Group for Journalist Safety.
ANEM appeals to all journalists and media representatives to regularly report any threats to their safety while performing their work. All journalists have access to a free phone number and direct line of ANEM at 0800 100 115, where media representatives can receive explanations about the legal treatment of the offense and the procedures that should be initiated to report threats to their safety to the competent institutions, police, and prosecutor's office.
