Documentary TV - yet another unregistered cable television, operating without a license and without an imprint.
The documentary TV channel available to users of Telekom Serbia's cable television has been broadcasting its program since November of last year. However, it is not officially registered in the Media Register at the Business Registers Agency (APR), is not listed in the licensing database of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM), and does not have the legally required Impressum on its website.

On this cable channel, among others, documentary series from the Center for Social Stability are broadcast, targeting and conducting campaigns against dissenters of the current authorities, which contain only the name of the mentioned organization in the promotional and closing credits. The last such production was aired last week under the title "Evil Age 2," in which Veran Matić, the president of the Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) and a member of the Permanent Working Group for the Safety of Journalists, was labeled.
Given that there is no broadcasting license and it is not officially registered, it is evident that this is yet another illegal broadcasting operation of a television station in Serbia, following the same principle as Niš TV, owned by Alo Media Systems, and TS Media of Telekom Srbija.
The Documentary TV portal only lists contact information, including the editorial office address - Svetozara Miletića 28 in Novi Sad.
At the same address, the portal and radio station NS Live are registered, which were the first to announce the launch of this television station in November. NS Live is owned by Hashtag Digital Media Group from Novi Sad, which belongs to the company "Vesti sa severa," owned by Danilo Babin. The same group also owns the portal Vojvodina Live.
According to ANEM's database, Hashtag Digital Media Group received 4.5 million dinars for five projects in the media content co-financing competitions in Serbia during 2025, while Vesti sa severa received 3,715,000 dinars for the realization of three projects on the same basis.
At the end of November, it was announced that Documentary TV officially begins operations on the Serbian media market, "the first specialized digital platform dedicated to documentary, serial, and film programming that authentically addresses national history, global issues, and contemporary social processes."
"Documentary TV focuses on content that understands the identity, tradition, and development of Serbia, providing viewers with precisely documented stories. Through programs and series about national history, relevant analyses, and uncensored discussions, the channel aims to create space for understandable, direct, and reasoned information. A special place is reserved for travel and cultural programming, which guides viewers through hidden places in Serbia, inspiring stories about people, local communities, and natural treasures that often remain undiscovered," the announcement stated.
