Guide to Gender-Sensitive Reporting
The Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) has published a Guide for Gender-Sensitive Reporting, intended for young journalists, developed within the framework of the Journalism School. This publication, created in collaboration with the Council of Europe, explains journalistic responsibility in avoiding gender stereotypes, as well as in ethical reporting on violence against women and women's political participation.

The publication encompasses three thematic areas - the European regulatory framework, domestic legislation, and ethical guidelines. In this way, the publication provides an overview of key norms and recommendations related to gender equality and media reporting.
Through this guide, UNS and the Council of Europe aim to encourage young journalists to recognize and apply a gender-sensitive approach in their daily work, relying on domestic and international standards.
