ANEM, UNS, NUNS, and Lokal Pres: Irregularities and Lack of Transparency in the Project Co-Financing Process
The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM), the Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS), the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS), and Local Press point out that the evaluation of media projects and the allocation of funds within the project co-financing process continued in June, accompanied by numerous controversial decisions, irregularities, and a lack of transparency in the process.

The gminfo portal has rejected the funds allocated this year through the competition for co-financing projects for the production of media content in the field of public information for the year 2025, which was announced by the municipality of Gornji Milanovac.

The Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (NUNS) calls on the President of the Municipality of Despotovac, Zlatko Marjanović, to withdraw the Decision to suspend the Competition for co-financing media content production projects, as it is not in accordance with the Law on Public Information and Media and the Regulation on Co-Financing Projects for Achieving Public Interest in the Field of Public Information.
