Nineteen local governments have not yet allocated funds in the media competitions.

Although the deadlines for submitting media projects were by the end of March and the evaluation committees have been appointed, the funds have not yet been distributed in Surdulica, Odžaci, Knić, Stara Pazova, Žabari, Novi Kneževac, Bela Palanka, Čačak, Preševo, Žitorađa, and Tutin.

In Osečina, Vrbas, and Gadžin Han, even though the deadline for media applications has also long passed, the committees to evaluate the projects have not yet been selected.

In Bujanovac, the committee has completed its part of the work, and a proposal for the distribution of funds has been published, but an official decision has not yet been made.

Sjenica and Novi Sad have announced new competitions, with deadlines for project submissions that expired in June, so the process is still ongoing. In Sjenica, a committee has been formed, while in Novi Sad, there is still no committee for the two competitions.

Similarly, in Despotovac, the deadline for applications for the new competition passed on July 10, but although there is a committee, the funds have not yet been allocated to the media. For one of the two competitions in Šabac, the one for internet portals, the deadline for projects was until July 31, and therefore there is still no committee.

The municipality of Lazarevac suspended the entire competitive process on August 1, so a potential decision regarding the announcement of a new competition is awaited.

The project of the Association of Independent Electronic Media "Participatory Monitoring of the Implementation of the Co-financing Process for Projects" is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the MATRA program.
