The biggest winners in the competitions of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.

The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications announced yesterday the results of nine competitions for project co-financing of media content, through which 482.5 million dinars will be distributed. The biggest beneficiaries of these competitions are mainly media houses that are already known to be record holders in the previously completed competitions in local governments.

The highest individual amount awarded in these nine competitions was received by the company VTV, owned by Vladan Stefanović from Subotica, totaling 11.4 million dinars. Following them are Zona Plus from Niš with 9.9 million, RTV Kruševac with 9.8 million, and Novosadska TV with 9.3 million, along with the association Postani vidljiv with 9,150,000 dinars and the entrepreneurial business of Milan Švelja, Video Kreativa Tim from Sombor, which received 8.3 million dinars.

Among the larger recipients are RTV Vranje with 7.6 million, Vranjska Plus with 7.4 million, NS VID MEDIA with 6.8 million, and the Journalist Association of Niš with six million dinars.

The Zaple Media Group, which has established several local media outlets since the beginning of the year, with Gradimir Banković as the chief and responsible editor, a collaborator of the Center for Social Stability, was supported for seven projects with a total value of 4.9 million dinars.

The Association of Journalists of Serbia, founded last year, received funding in the amount of 1.3 million dinars.

When looking at ownership, the media companies owned by Radoica Milosavljević received the most funds from the relevant ministry—41.2 million dinars in total—for TV Pirot, TV Leskovac, Kanal M, RTV Brus, RTV Caribrod, RTV Kruševac, TV Požega, Telemark, and SOS Kanal Plus.

When combining the funds received by the publishers of the tabloids Alo and Informer, along with their subsidiary companies, this group ranked second with 41.1 million dinars. Individually, the publisher of Alo - Alo Media System doo received nearly five million dinars, while the Insider team, which publishes Informer, received 2.5 million dinars.

Their joint company, Best Media Team, which has acquired numerous local media outlets in Serbia since the beginning of the year, received a total of 32.6 million dinars for the media companies TV Kikinda, Informative Center Priboj, Lotel Plus, Konzum Lav, TV-5, RTV Bačka Palanka, RTV Majdanpek, Santos, and V5.

INI Media, under which NišTV operates and which is a subsidiary of Alo, received one million dinars from the Ministry for two projects.

The companies of Goran Lalić—Novosadska TV and Dnevnik Vojvodina Press—received a total of 14.8 million dinars based on national-level media competitions.

Media companies owned by Slavko Stijaković, totaling 24, collectively "earned" 27.4 million dinars from these nine competitions. Projects supported within Stijaković's media network included Banatski Let, Braničevak Kas, Cvet na Tisi, Hej Salaši, Heroji Morave, Narcis and Jorgovan, Naše Trube, Omorika and Bor, Plavinac, Božur, Devič, Koštana, Skadarlija, Peto Tri, Šest Žica, SS Tourist Television, Talasi Dunava, Tvrđava, Zlatni Vir, Radio Fruška Gora, TV Fruška Gora, Gradska M Television, Radio Breg, and RTC Srem.

As a co-owner with Stijaković at Radio Fruška Gora, Televizija Fruška Gora, Radio Breg, Gradska M Television, and RTC Srem, Aleksandar Milutinović is also the owner of TV Apatin, which won 6.8 million in these competitions, and he is also the director of Zogaks from Gornji Milanovac, which received 1.2 million dinars.

The companies of Vladan Stefanović from Subotica—City Radio, Magazin Dani, Radio Subotica, and VTV—received a total of 21.7 million dinars in this year's ministry competitions.
